Smoke alarms & RCDs
Smoke alarms and safety switches
Two of the most important safety devices in your home. We install, test and certify smoke alarms and RCDs to current WA requirements.
- Hardwired & interconnected
- Sale and rental compliance
- Tested and certified

Protecting your family – and meeting the rules
In WA, homes must have compliant, hardwired smoke alarms and at least two RCDs before the property is sold, transferred or rented. Many older homes don’t.
We’ll check what you have, explain what’s required and install modern photoelectric smoke alarms and safety switches with minimal fuss.

Frequently asked questions
How often should smoke alarms be replaced?
Smoke alarms should be replaced at least every 10 years. Check the date on the back of the alarm – if it’s older than that or has no date, it’s due.
I’m selling my home – what do I need?
Before settlement in WA you’ll generally need compliant hardwired smoke alarms and at least two RCDs. We can inspect, install and provide the paperwork.
Do you look after rental properties?
Yes. We inspect, install and test smoke alarms and RCDs so rental homes meet WA requirements.
